Charles Coburn, Vincent Price, Anne Baxter, the Fox contract players. Coburn later appeared with Marilyn Monroe in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, Price appeared in FOREVER AMBER, also directed by Preminger.
Baxter was under contract to Fox. Wonder if she really wanted to do this farce. Margo in ALL ABOUT EVE was allegedly based on Tallulah, and Davis imitated some of her mannerisms. I wonder if Baxter coached Davis on some of Tallulah's mannerisms.
Camp at its best. Tallulah is obviously enjoying herself by not taking the script seriously.
So fun - thanks for this. I like: ua-cam.com/video/BF0lU-VTJvk/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB8AUB
VA did a pretty convincing job
all hank had to say was "I'll bring it up to my boss next time I see him" and walk away, that's it
❤
Yo, to be fair his grill is basically a glorified toasted sandwich press with some wonky legs so the grease drains out.
you mean John Cleese?
Just bought one for my dad for Father’s Day 😂
Hank is blessed to meet famous celebrities / athletes just to roast them lmao
1:12 - "NOVELTY GRILL!?"
Wow. All that over a GRILL. LOL!
NOVELTY GRILL?!?
NOVELTY GRILL ?!
Hank went too far
FIGHTS ON
A bit “stage”. I prefer jazz. But wonderful songstress. What a beautiful voice.
With how popular GF grills are now, imagine if Hank had started carrying those grills in his store. Even if he sees them as a novelty, a good salesperson would have recognized the brand value and the clientele it draws to the store, then upsell them to a better grill.
I can't stand The Big Bang Theory.They drop a pencil and you oriented.Schools.Nuts , check out W k.R.P Genius
The ink is Black. The page is White 😂😂😂Worldwide
Both the singer and the dance couple do an engrossing performance of the great Cole Porter's song. How refreshing!
I’ve been quoting this clip since the day I first saw it
I love everything about this, including the typical Hollywood Choral Sound of the early musical movies.
Rebecca was hot, the voce not so. I bet she was.not hired for the voice.
Binnie Hale and Jack Buchanan version is my favourite.
Shaniece and the theme song for Homeroom wow I love it
George Foreman grills really are superior. I dunno they cook the burgers so good its unreal. Propane grill just cant do it like a foreman and its the truth.
The good old days when we have such beautiful.music!!❤
I'm no fan/enemy of propane; I use charcoal, but Hank is on to something. They are just elevated flatirons and aren't the easiest thing to clean.
Dude they are the easiest thing to clean
Good old Vincent Price as the French ambassador. What a great film this is! Huge thanks to the poster.
Hank didn’t choose the thug life, the thug life chose Hank.
I loved it when Venus talked black. He says, i can talk black. 😅
I used to think Bailey was even prettier than Mr. Kotter's wife/Nurse Cutler I still do, but I used to as well.
They could NEVER make this show today. All those awful clothes they wore were burned at the stake in 1986.
All Hank had to do was say he would carry the grill and he could’ve accomplished his original goal and avoided a Thrilla in Manila remix. 😂
One of the greatest songs from the Golden Age of American songwriting, 1920 - 1960 or so.
OMG Reagan-omics!! It is still screwing up this country. Great tv show, but dang that term is a wicked flash back.
Rest In Paradise Judith Marie-Bergan you will be missed gone but definitely not forgotten!!!
no woke there
But not nearly as asleep at the wheel as you sound
Wonderful rendition of a great song by a great actress Rebecca Luker and taken from us so cruelly from ALS.
歌声もダンスも本当に素晴らしい。
The Criswell/McGlinn performances and recordings from this period were seen as revelations. This song has been distorted belief in revivals, brassy and jazzy and loud. This is how it was conceived and should be done.
During the early years of The Great American Songbook '1925, this song is a 24/7 global kick in every sense of the expression......
I miss so much those kind of concert
Such a cast of proverbial scoundrels and misfits all in one place. Genius!
Downloaded god kidnapped flash time
Love Charles Colburn ❤️
I watched him on the Dick van Dyke. Show, recently! He was gorgeous and sang beautifully! I checked and he has only one album out! No CD! Why did he not get top billing? He is that good!
A favorite UA-cam video of mine is Brent and Michael Jeter singing the joyous "Let's Take A Glass Together" from Grand Hotel.
What a movie from the start to the finish great script and acting they don't make movies like this one
